Kejirwal agrees to furnish bail

Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has accepted to furnish bail bond and is set to walk free out of Tihar jail. Following the suggestion of Delhi High Court, Arvind Kejriwal agreed to furnish a personal bond.

A division bench of justice Kailash Gambhir and justice Sunita Gupta told Kejriwal that he is turning this into a 'prestige issue'

Kejriwal is in judicial custody till June 6 after he refused to furnish a personal bond in a defamation case filed by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Nitin Gadkari. He refused to pay the bail bond of Rs.10,000 and was sent to the Tihar Jail.
