The Delhi High Court would receive the DNA test results of ND Tiwari today and could be made public too.

ND Tiwari was the former governer of Andhra Pradesh and also a vetera Congress leader who was dragged to the court by a 32- year old man, Rohit Shekhar. Rohit claims that Tiwari is his biological father while Tiwari denied the allegation. The DNA tests ordered by the Court would show who is right and who is wrong.

87 year old  Tiwari, had asked the case to be moved to the High Court and the Supreme Court too asking the report results not to be revealed till the hearing was concluded in the paternity suit. The High Court on 20th July said that the results could be made public today.

However, Justice Reva Ketrapal had dismissed Tiwari's plea saying that he cannot misnterpret the Supreme Court's order which was intended for the purpose of collection of Blood Samples for a DNA test.

The case had been filed originally in 2008 while the congressman sought several political routes while avoiding the submission of a blood sample. After a long duration, he had submitted the blood sample on 29th May at his residence in Dehradun.

Both the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court have come down heavily on Mr Tiwari and was also fined a sum of Rs 25,000 for delaying the procedures.
