A kashmiri woman delivers in a Taxi

After being turned away by a government hospital in Central Kashmir, a woman had delivered her child in a Taxi in Ganderbal district sources said.
Amreen, had a bitter experience as a first time mother but had successfully delivered a male child in the taxi when driving back to Gutilbagh, which was only 12 Kilometers from the Ganderbal district headquarter.
Amreen had visited the gynecologist at the hospital in the morning but the doctors have turned her back home saying that her delivery was not due yet.
After their delivery the mother and baby were taken back the Ganderbal hospital and were reported to be stable in terms of health and that there was no danger to their lives.
Mehmooda Kar, the Block Medical Officer has demanded an inquiry after public uproar against the gynecologist's negligence. He added that he was not present as he was meeting with the governor at the time of the incident.
