Rahul Gandhi lacks the necessary clear thinking : BJP

Attacking the Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid's statements about Rahul Gandhi, Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday has said that the Congress Secretary General has no "clear and convergent thinking".

Ravu Shankar Prasad, leader of BJP said that Salman Khurshid's comment only seconded their view of Congress as lacking a proper direction.

“The surprising part of the tale is that the comment has been made by a senior minister in Union Progressive Alliance, which is actually led by Congress from the past nine years. If such a person believes there is no direction, then the country is definitely drifting away”, Ravi told the reporters.

He added, “Rahul has always projected only short clips and cameos of his thoughts and ideas and it is worthy of a laugh if such a person is being projected as the leader in the future”. He opined that the comments also indirectly point out the functioning of Sonia Gandhi. This drifting state of the country is something to be worried about. It also confirms that Manmohan Singh is a mere toy and an underachiever as he as nothing to comment on this.
