Brother kidnapped after sister denied marriage proposal

Tapas who is pursuing his 8th class in Fulia Siksha Niketan in Nadia was allegedly abducted by his neughbor in Ranaghat on Sunday after his sister rejected the proposal for a marriage. There has been no trace of both the boy or the kidnapper.
Beauty Biswas Das, 25, was married but was seperated from her husband 6 years ago. Sashadar Biswas a hawker in the area and their neighbor maintained a good relation with Beauty's family. Sashadhar started pressurizing the girl after her father died three months ago. However, Beauty did not accept his proposal.
On the morning of Sunday, Beauty's brother was nowhere to be found and later that day she received a called from an unknown number threaterning to kill Tapas if she failed to marry Shashadhar. After this incident she reported the same to the police and lodged a complaint.
There are no leads on the case yet and further details regarding the case are awaited.
