The the three storied science department in Rajasthan University Campus had hit the ground on Thursday Morning creating chaos and confusion in the students and teachers.

Fortunetely the building, which was meant for research scholars in physics, chemistry and mathematics, was unused at that point of tme and no casualities were observed. The collapse caused a great los to the valuable equipment, important documents like research papers etc. An NMS apparatus used to observe protons costing around one crore was also destroyed in the incident apart from 100 computers.

At 8 am in the morning a guard along with another girl fromthe mathematics department were entering the buildig when they noticed that th upper portion of the building was about to fall to the ground. They both stormed out of the building while warning others.
The police have confirmed that there were no students or employees trapped in the shambles. 50 angry NSUI students protested at the residence of the VC and demanded enty into his house but the police arrived immediately at the scene and calmed them down. 9 students were arrested for tresspassing and breach of peace.

Gopiram the guard of the building expressed that they were very fortunate as the even occurred early at 8 am and if it would have occurred at 11 am there would have been at least 200 casualities.
