Tatkal ticket from 10 AM from 10 July

Indian Railways has declared that tatkal ticket booking would commence from 10 AM instead of 8 AM. The new rule would come into effect from July 10. This decision was taken in the wake of the complaints on irregularites in tatkal ticket booking. The sources said the railway officials were thinking of making it mandatory that only one ticket be booked from one computer. Also, there's a proposal to quash tatkal and introduce emergency quote in the place. In fact, 10 years ago tatkal was alloted to students only on showing the identity cards.
