At least 15 killed in road accident

At least 15 persons were killed and 24 injured in a fatal accident that took place on Amroho national highway in Uttar Pradesh this morning. The injured have been shifted to nearby government hospitals and the condition of two persons is said to be critical. The accident took place when the bus in which 39 persons were aboard lost its control and dashed a tree. While 13 person died on the spot, the remaining two succumbed to injuries at hospital. The bus was traveling from Haridwar. The police have registered a case.
