French father faces child abuse accusations

In a shocking incident, a French diplomat's wife in India has approached the police in Bangalore and slapped a sexual assault case against the couple's three-and-half year old daughter. The accused Pascal Mazurier was questioned late last night but was not apprehended since he is a diplomat.
The DCP of Bangalore, Ravikanthe Gowda said a case of child molestation and abuse was registered and investigation was on. She was relucatant to reveal the details as it would purpotedly violate the child rights.
In her complaint, mother mentioned that a medical test was conducted on her and the reports indicated that the girl was subjected to penetrative sexual assualt. Meanwhile, the counsel of the victim said they (victims' supporters) appealed French Embassy to waive off the diplomatic immunity so that he (accused) be arrested.
