There is sorrow everywhere in the state; every direction he looked every step he took. Chandrababu Naidu in his Vastunna Meekosam padayatra has observed that struggle for basic amenities was the daily schedule of his people in the state. He was brought to the point of tears witnessing their rueful condition.

Walking for almost 20km everyday has taken a toll on Babu's health too, who is not in his youth either. However, the desire to make his place in the hearts of the people and help them as minimally as he could has been the driving force. He has been facing a few problems with his muscles and the doctors and the physiotherapists have advised him to walk on the soft mud paths rather than on the hard roads which were harsh on his feet.

A person ought to take more care of his health than anything else by Babu has been tormented by the daily-basis-grief in the people. He has been trying to note down the problems of the people with the vision to eliminate all them once he assumes the throne. People who have watched Babu in the yatra said that he was determined despite all his health issues to movie forward and complete the yatra.

The unfortunate deaths of 13 handweavers have terribly discomforted the ex-CM. He has vowed to fast for a day in remembrance of their rues. He also assured that he would announce at least Rs. 100 cr for the development of the hand-weavers if he is made the CM. He later went on to condemn the Congress leaders late YS Rajasekhar Reddy during whose ruling the hand-weavers society was neglected. He added that their situation worsened after his death with Rosiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy's ruling. He ordered the people who look after his food needs to not bring any food for the night as a mark of protest against the Congress' attitude.
