Azad continues to put future of Cong at stake
The AICC incharge of AP affairs, Gulam Nabi Azad has made yet another statement, which is most likely to damage the future of the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh. He said Congress party has no threat till 2014. Azad stating that no problem to party till 2014 has given raise to a new debate among political analysts in the state. Sources said his statement indirectly gave a message that Congress party retaining power in the state in 2014 would be a hard nut to crack.
The high command is likely to look into these controversial statements by Azad. It is known that Azad earlier stirred up controversies by stating that YSR Congress president Jagan would have become CM had he not quit Congress party. These statements turned fatal to Congress in bypolls. In fact, political observes said it was due to Azad's statements, Congress party tasted defeat in bypolls. The sources said Azad is apparently going to be replaced by someone else who doesn't put the future of the Congress party in the state at stake.
