The CPI state secretary Narayana has lashed out at Kadapa MP and YSR Congress party president, YS Jaganmohan Reddy yet another time alleging that he was the corrupt politician. Jagan was just in a race to safeguarding the black money that his father gave to him through improper channels and that’s the reason why he’s wishing to become a chief minister, he said.
Narayana said the CPI would work against the Congress party, which dimmed the future of the state as well as the country. Even YSR Congress party comes from the same background and we would work against it too, added Narayana.
Elucidating as why they were not contesting by-polls, Narayana said there was no scope for political campaigning on the polls that were result of mere proud and economic power.
It may be recalled that CPI declared it would not contest the by-polls to the 18 assembly constituencies in the state. When 17 Congress MLAs, who supported Jagan in the no-confidence motion that took place few months ago, they were disqualified by the speaker and 18 seats to assembly constituencies had fallen vacant.
Meanwhile, all the political parties are in a desperate fight to win at least few more seats in the by-polls.(Phani)
