Unemployment pension, on the anvil?

The ever enterprising young Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Kiran Kumar Reddy is concentrated on the youth. As per statistics the 2014 will have more youth voters, is a known fact. And luring them would be to garner more mileage at the electoral. The recent polls at Uttar Pradesh were a significant issue was, good number of youth had exercised their franchise. And following in the footsteps of the Congress scion Rahul Gandhi, the state CM would like to garner maximum support from the youth. `Rajiv Kiranalu’, introduced by the CM was to provide training and job to the youth who were jobless and skill less.

Sources confirm that the CM now plans to introduce `Unemployment Pension’, to the erstwhile youth. The amount would be approximately ranging between Rs. 500-Rs.1000 per month, yet to be decided. This mammoth exercise has its own setbacks at large. The most predominant hurdle would be the criteria of allotment and the eligibility criteria. As there is no data available of people employed, in private sector. Another issue is the cost to the exchequer and how it could be replenished. Now will this affect the productive attitude of the youth is also to be considered. Will this be restricted only to people living in BPL. Or will the financial assistance be given after education to some years. Numerous questions are doing the rounds in the political circles. The scheme would help the unemployed to strive over the lean passage, but should not the rulers concentrate on accomplishing basic amenities for all programs!! (With inputs from internet: AarKay)
