Apple's trouble in China yet again, blacklisted

Not long back had the Cupertino giant paid off a whopping $60 million to settle trademark disputes with China's Proview Technology, Apple is now under threat from the country for not following the rules and laws of the consumer-protection.

The Chine media report that the consumer rights organization, China Consumer Association CCA, had blacklisted the company for offering poor services after the sale of the goods.

After numerous complaints from the people who are the customers of Apple in the first half of the year 2012, this blacklisting was enforced. A customer had his iPhone 4 repaired and though his phone was withing the warranty period the Apple had not extended the warranty to the warranty of the newer parts after the replacement.

The Chinese laws demand that Apple or any other company should replace the parts with brand new ones when they are sent for repairs and that the parts should also renew their warranty accordingly.

It has been found that the company used pre-used parts to replace the corresponding parts in the iPhone and iPad that were send for repair.  The consumer watchdog also claims that Apple does not update the warranty accordingly. '

Apple also had to revise the maintenance terms for the iPhones after it received severe criticism fro CCA and other local associations. A few users from China have also lodged complaints that there were many hidden rules in the repair of iPads. For example, the company refuses to repair any iPad for no charge if it has a scratch that measures more then 4 mm.
