Siddarth takes on big bro's for scorning competitions
Southern homely star Siddarth was astonished, why many scorn competition. He aggresively voiced his opinion over the star performers preferring to go for solo releases. Sidd an avid social networker has micro blogged on the issue."We grew up at a time when 4-5 films released together and if they were good, they did well. Today, big films release alone. Power talks! Every rule of the free market is being violated in film distribution today," laments the actor.
The reasons of the outbursts of the actor seemed to be because of the sad fact that such antics only encourage bad cinema. In his outburst the actor added, "This encourages bad cinema as it becomes financially viable. We have more screens in India today per square km than ever before, and yet 100s of films are doomed to never release because of the politics! Every time I meet a filmmaker with a completed film lying unreleased, it breaks my heart. The system is harshest on the most talented. Strange!"
Earlier Dasari also voiced his satirical comments on the issue. And with the gen next representative taking the cue from the veteran, the lamblast seems to be targeted at the big brothers of south cinema in particular. (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
