Hot Lakshmi Menon turns into a village girl

The dancer turned actress Lakshmi Menon is all set to act as a villager in the Tamil film Kumki. This bi-lingual flick stars Vikram Prabhu the grandson of veteran actor late shri Sivaji Ganesan. This film directed by Prabhu Solomon and produced by N Linguswamy for Thirupathy Brothers. Lakshmi who made her debut in 'Sundara Pandian' is a good dancer. She is a trained dancer in many forms- Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Kathakali.
Pinning her hopes on her next flick Lakshmi to give her a major boost career wise. This film is sure to rack in good acclaim for the star like her previous venture. Lakshmi is simple and hopes to do more dance oriented roles.
Studio Green has confirmed that this Prabhu debut film has been bought by the company for distribution.
As per sources the film plot is centered around an elephant Kumki and its mahout, the hero. The duo escort wild elephants that foray unawares into populated areas, back to their thickly dense habitat to avoid damage to the fields and people. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
