A warm welcome waits at TANA celebrations for the Union Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi with a rally of 100 cars.  149 gold coins with Chiranjeevi's impression on it and with an inscription reading "Padmabhushan Kalaprapurna Mega Star Dr.Chiranjeevi" are made to correlate with 149 of his movies.  The coins will be auctioned to donate the sale proceeds to Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust.

The recent activities of Chiranjeevi in politics and the way he took up the responsibilities for promoting the ministry under him must have impressed the NRIs in USA to make a gesture of that sort.  But reminding Chiranjeevi that he came close to 150th movie always makes him uneasy.  He announced number of times that his focus is on politics and he wants to give full time to study and to be with it.

But experience in the life always comes back in time and also pays back.  His attempt at Cannes to impress the film producers to opt for the cinema shootings in India shows it.
The enthusiasm in USA to receive Chiranjeevi also indicates that he may strike success in getting investments of NRIs also to develop tourism in the State.

Butterfly Park http://www.andhrawishesh.com/home/telugu-headlines-top-stories/39975-butterfly-park.html http://www.andhrawishesh.com/home/telugu-headlines-top-stories/39975-butterfly-park.html Butterfly Park

A Butterfly Park is made at the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam.

Minister Shatrucharla Vijayaramarao inaugurated the Butterfly Park and said that it took one year to give it a shape as it looks now.  Only Ramoji Film City has a similar park in our State.  It has 5 varieties of butterflies for the time being number of which, the minister promised, will be increased in due course.

Butterflies add beauty to a park like flowers do.  As they are harmless and colorful, they are loved by kids and nature lovers.  While relaxing on a bench of a park, watching a butterfly makes one relieved from all the tensions.  A regular watching of movements of fish in an aquarium and butterflies in a park make a hyper tension cured as scientific observations revealed.

KCR targets TDP again http://www.andhrawishesh.com/home/telugu-headlines-top-stories/39968-kcr-targets-tdp-again.html http://www.andhrawishesh.com/home/telugu-headlines-top-stories/39968-kcr-targets-tdp-again.html KCR targets TDP again

TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao challenged Telugu Desam Party yesterday while he was participating in the political training classes conducted at Banswada, Nizamabad District that TDP should prove its sincerity towards formation of a separate Telangana State by making a resolution in the Mahanadu the party’s Statewide annual public meeting that is going to take place at the end of the month.

KCR as always did in the past blaming TDP and Congress party in that order, this time also did the same and instead of making his own strategy to achieve formation of Telangana State for which the party is formed, asked the people of Telangana to debate among themselves about the TDP’s sincerity.  He questioned whether a Telangana person will become a Chief Minister if TDP comes to power or at least become the president of the party.

TDP gave a fitting reply to KCR in their interview with the media persons that the party has its own way of functioning and it knows what to do and when with the decision taken from the leaders of the party.  They questioned KCR back whether TRS will work for Telangana without desiring political positions if TDP makes a resolution of that sort.  And they also reminded that the party’s stand is already made clear long back and it is up to the TRS party to fight as it is formed for that and Congress Party as it is in the power to do that.  They blamed TRS that it is politically contesting for the power and at the same time ask other parties to resign or to make their stand clear about Telangana State.

OU JAC complaint on Chiranjeevi http://www.andhrawishesh.com/home/telugu-headlines-top-stories/39953-ou-jac-complaint-on-chiranjeevi.html http://www.andhrawishesh.com/home/telugu-headlines-top-stories/39953-ou-jac-complaint-on-chiranjeevi.html OU JAC complaint on Chiranjeevi

Osmania University JAC gave a complaint to the Joint Director CBI today to probe into the wasteful expenditure made by Chiranjeevi as Union Minister of Tourism.

The members of the OU JAC went to the office of the CBI in Kothi to submit their complaint in which they mentioned that a huge sum of Rs.2 Crores 14 Lakhs was spent in Park Hyatt and Taj Falaknuma in which the international meet UNWTO organized by Chiranjeevi.

Their allegation is that a big amount was given away to the corporate hotels out of the funds available at the disposal of the Minister.   In the wake of it a thorough probe was requested by OU JAC on the entire money transactions.

The OU students yesterday tried to attack on Chiranjeevi’s residence and to burn effigy of Chiranjeevi for the alleged lavish spending of Govt.funds.  Police of course foiled their attempt and arrested some of them and later let them go on personal sureties.

The funds are of Central Government and the amount is spent in the State for the development of the State.  Although Chiranjeevi is a Union Minister, he brought the summit to his home State for which we in fact should feel happy.

Probes can be initiated on the Government spending.  But why Chiranjeevi alone?

Nobody so far filed any complaint on the State Government’s spending money on Delhi tours to discuss politics and to launch popular Govt. schemes to earn good will for the party.  Did anybody question on the expenditure met for running Assembly? How much of air fare and helicopter charges are met and for what purpose?  If one asks for these expenses including the money spent on the Members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council in terms of remuneration and other expenses astonishing figures will come out.

It is very easy to provoke a common man who is not aware of the rates of star hotels.  They can also be enraged if the expenses of the Government are made public.
