Manali Girl Gets First International Medal In Skiing:- Manali based Aanchal Thakur created a history and emerged as the first Indian to win a medal at an International skiing event. The 21-year-old girl has been poured with wishes and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Aanchal Thakur on her achievement. Aanchal Thakur managed to get bronze medal in the coveted Alpine Ejder Cup that has been organised by the Federation International de Ski. Aanchal Thakur won bronze medal in the slalom race category.

The entire nation waved at Aanchal Thakur on this historic achievement. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted saying "Well done @alleaanchal for winning an international medal in skiing! The entire nation is ecstatic on your historic accomplishment at the FIS International Skiing Competition in Turkey. Wishing you the very best for your future endeavours". Aanchal Thakur's parents have been left delighted and thanked everyone who supported her in this journey.
