Furrow lines on your forehead, also called frown lines, are no longer restricted to old age. Daily stress and exhaustion are giving birth to such unwanted lines even at a young age, and this is beyond our control. Here are some simple tips that will surely remove those lines.
1. Coconut Oil
Massage a few drops of coconut oil on your forehead and face for a few minutes or until the oil is absorbed by the skin.Do this every night before going to bed. Coconut oil moisturizes the skin and keeps it healthy.
2. Castor Oil
Apply a drop or two of castor oil in a gentle tapping motion on your forehead. Leave it on overnight.This remedy is best used overnight. As castor oil is light in texture, you can also apply it during the day.
3. Citrus Fruits
Dip the cotton in the lemon juice and apply this on your forehead. Dilute the lemon juice with an equal amount of water if you have sensitive skin. Let the juice air dry. Then, rinse with water.Apply lemon juice once every day.
Massage the area around the wrinkles gently with warm olive oil in a downward to upward motion for 10 minutes. For even better results, you can add a few drops of coconut oil.Do this once or twice every day.
5. Flaxseed Oil
Consume a tablespoon of this oil two to four times in a day.Continue this for a fortnight. You will start seeing a difference in the frown lines on your forehead.
6. Aloe Vera Gel With Egg White
Mix the egg white and aloe vera gel and apply this pack on your forehead. You can also apply it to the rest of your face. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.Apply this pack twice or thrice a week.
7. Jojoba Oil
Massage the oil with your fingertips on your forehead in upward motions for a minute or two. Leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.Repeat this every day. This is best done before going to bed.
8. Petroleum Jelly
Lightly dampen your forehead and apply a tiny amount of petroleum jelly. Massage it in so that the skin doesn’t feel too sticky.Do this before going to bed every night.
9. Manuka Honey
Soak the washcloth in the hot water. Wring out the excess and place this on the forehead for a minute or two to open up the pores. Remove the washcloth and apply a thin layer of the Manuka honey. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. Rinse with cold water to close the pores.Repeat this once every day.
10. Almond Oil
Apply a few drops of almond oil on the forehead. Massage for a few minutes and leave it on.Do this before going to bed so that the oil works on your skin all night long.
