Ginger does Wonder!

Ginger has long been used in food as a reason of it's wonderful medicinal properties especially during cold, having a cup of 'kadak adraki chai' can give us instant relief.

At the same time, while on a cold winter morning, one can boil water with ginger, basil leaves, mint leaves and then add a spoon of honey. Even in traditional Indian dishes, ginger is added for giving the dish a unique flavor. Ginger's health benefits has made it an essential ingredient in Indian kitchens. There are more health benefits of ginger which needs to be explored such as having ginger during prevention and treating of cold and flu while also it helps in the case of stomach problems, digestive problems or food poisoning.

Ginger is known have an anti-inflammatory properties and is a powerful natural painkiller. Even during heart burn Ginger tea does wonder. Furthermore, research has shown that ginger may provide migraine relief due to its ability to stop prostaglandins from causing pain and inflammation in blood vessels.


Ginger, the essential spice in Indian kitchens is actually much more than that!
