Naidu’s strategy on omitting Pawan! May 28, 2015 11:04

A year back, these are the days where Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu  was chanting the names of Modi and Pawan Kalyan. Before the elections, in many public meetings, Naidu openly said that, Pawan is the person who wishes the welfare of the public without the question of any self benefits. Then what is that happened in this one year, which made Naidu to put Pawan aside, even in the TDP’s prestigious annual conclave ‘Mahanadu’.Naidu put Pawan aside for these reasons?Firstly, after TDP won the elections, many said that it was Pawan’s craze which made TDP to gain such a huge majority.Through the social networking sites, Pawan expressed his disappointment with the way TDP is ruling the state. As the farmers of AP called upon Pawan, he met them and assured them to fight against the government about the land pooling. In fact, this might be the biggest reason for Naidu to rethink on Pawan. As Pawan craze is increasing day by day among the public through his participations against land pooling activities  and people are also of the opinion that Pawan is the greatest reason for TDP to win the elections, Naidu might have thought that it might further cause a great loss to the party if he himself talks positively about Pawan in ‘Mahanadu’ and so omitted him completely.  By Phani

KCR should rethink on these issues! May 28, 2015 09:44

It is one year for Telangana to form as a separate state, but who is really happy after the formation. Among the students or job holders or artists or anybody, if questioned, the common answer would be ‘No’ by all of them. After so much struggle for the separate state, the one year celebration should actually earn a high significance among the people, but it seems to be like that there is no such anxiety among the students, job holders and some others who are deeply hurt by the TRS government in the state. Only those are happy!Few Political leaders and other workers who are involved in ‘Mission Kakatiya’ are found to be happy for the formation of the state, but the situation of the rest of them was openly out through the recent allegations on the government, be it with the students, employee unions, farmers or artists.     Actually, KCR has managed to own the complete credit of gaining Telangana without sharing it with Congress and thus earned CM chair. But within no time, by the continuous oppositions by the people of the state, it seems like, he himself is making Rahul, a hero by indirectly diverting the people to Congress.KCR still has a chanceFew of the political critics are opining that, KCR still has a chance, at least he should come out of all allegations by implementing welfare programmes from now.By Phani

Please donate Pappu a suite, as he is asking for it since long time May 27, 2015 19:39

It’s the same old story again. The location changed, the date has changed. But Pappu keeps attacking Modi with the same old stinky remarks. On the second day of his visit to Kerala, Pappu told fishermen that he is not afraid of Modi and his suit friends. I just want to ask Pappu one thing. What did your grandfather wear? A Lungi? He should know the days when Nehru wore London made suit with a pipe in his mouth and wearing sunglasses. Then he used to ride a horse on the banks of Jhelum River. Just days back people spotted his brother-in-law in a suit. It might be hallucinating. Its an undeniable fact that Pappu got his first recognition with the ‘Suit, Boot ka Sarkar’ comment. But that doesn’t mean that he can plan his entire life by saying those lines. People are feeling monotonous. In an apparent reference to the Centre deciding to extend a ban on trawler fishing to 61 days from 45 days as part of measures to safeguard marine wealth, the Congress Vice President said his party would oppose any move to take away the rights of fishermen.Poor Pappu has no knowledge about the Government’s plans. The deep sea trawling ban is to help and protect fish breeding, which is essential for a Good catch for Fisher men. This helps the small time fishermen who can still fish and stops the big trawlers who poach on to the fishes at high seas during breeding season. Also over the decades, Kerala was being run by Congress Government and was head over the heels in corruption in every department. Will anyone condemn, if I say that Congress is the synonym of Corruption? So, now the time has come for Pappu to get prepared with a new script so that he will leave this suit politics. What pities more is ex-Prime Minister never spoke anything. Future PM Candidate doesn’t know what to talk and when to stop? What a pathetic condition is congress in? - Manohar

Four Indian Woman features in Forbes annual list May 27, 2015 18:01

Forbes has named State Bank of India Chairperson Smt Arundhati Bhattacharya in its 100 Most Powerful Women’s list, with a ranking of 30 in the world. The Kolkata-born Bhattacharya, aged 59, has moved up six spots from No.36, in the list and is the SBI's first woman chairperson since October 2013. She oversees 220,000 staff in 16,000 branches which service 225 million customers as India's largest lender with offices in more than 36 countries. Two other women of Indian-origin, PepsiCo chief Indra Nooyi and Cisco chief technology and strategy officer Padmasree Warrior has also made to the list. Forbes's list of the 100 most influential women features extraordinary entrepreneurs, visionary CEOs, politicians, celebrity role models, billionaire activists and pioneer philanthropists. The top ten include philanthropist in the list are Melinda Gates (3), Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen (3), GM CEO Mary Barra (5), IMF Chief Christine Lagarde (6), Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff (7), Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg (8), YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki (9) and US First Lady Michelle Obama (10)."Recognising the multiple roles of working women, Ms Bhattacharya pioneered a two-year sabbatical policy for female employees taking maternity leave or give extended care to familly," Forbes said. “That these wretched stats continue year after year is a serious and pressing issue. But there’s hardly a void of powerful women — and the numbers are growing. That is, if we enlarge our focus from just who owns the greatest wealth or the heaviest corporate hammer to include the women whose influence and impact may be greater than the sum of their title,” Forbes said.“The 59-year old PepsiCo CEO rang in PepsiCo’s 50th anniversary by throwing a bone to an activist investor threatening to ruin the party. By handing a board seat to Nelson Peltz’s Trian Fund Management, who thinks the food and beverage giant should split up, Nooyi avoided a messy proxy fight,” Forbes said.India-born Padmasree Warrior has  dropped in the rankings this year to 84 on the list from 71 last year. Forbes said in her seven years in the USD 138 billion technology company, Padmasree Warrior has helped Cisco to grow its influence through acquisitions, including six in 2014 and 10 in 2013. The 54-year old Cornell-trained engineer mentors other women in the technology industry and “believes a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education informs creativity,” Forbes profile states.By Premji

Spicy talk: Sanjana May 27, 2015 17:52

We might be very well aware of the kids behavior while wearing clothes. Few kids are that naughty that they do not spare any clothes on their body. Dressing them completely is a big challenge for most of the parents. But after growing up, the behavior of those kids would be silly to themselves when they think of it. I think this logic did not work out in Sanjana’s life, even though she grown up. It is known that, she was spotted at a spa opening in a complete transparent dress. Not only the  naughty eyes, but also the neat eyes can easily search a lot of things in that dress. Again, an almost similar chance has come to those naughty and neat eyes. The above image is a pose of Sanjana for a recent photo shoot. If you can notice, you can observe the words ‘never give up’ on her hand. That itself says that she never gave up on drawing the attention of the guys with her attire. This pose is again not an exception for it. By Phani
