The Flu medication has a bright hope of getting better and more effective as the scientists from the Scripps Research Institute and Crucell Vaccine Institute in the Netherlands had identified a super antibody that works against flu. This is the single ray of hope presently for an universal injection for the infection.

The antibody could bind to influenza B strain and one antibody CR9114 could protecting us against several infections caused by the serious Influenza A virus which also happens to be more common.

Ian Wilson, structural biologist explains that a Universal flu vaccine should be capable of combating against both Influenza A and Influenza B strains of virus. He said that the now had isolated broadly neutralizing antibodies against both, the only kind known to humankind yet.
The antibodies CR8033, CR8071 and CR9114 had been tested on mice in which flu was induced artificially with Influenza A and B viruses.

CR9114 had been effective against the A type of virus, the H1N1 type included. They act by neutralizing flu viruses which usually excite the infected cells.
This antibody would be the “cure” of flu rather than the conventional seasonal or annual vaccinations.
