Charan realized, now it’s Prabhas’s turn! May 31, 2016 15:27

After Sr NTR and Chiranjeevi, when there comes the discussion of the top chair of Tollywood, most of the eyes would go on to Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. But after Baahubali, the calculations have started taking a different route and few of the analysts say that, Prabhas concreted his position as the number 1 hero here. Also read: Pawan-10, Mahesh-5, then Prabhas? But, more than Prabhas, it is the subject of the film, or to say, it is Rajamouli, who has to own a bigger credit for the stupendous success of a film, where the Telugu cinema has never faced before. Earlier, when Magadheera collected Rs. 70+ crores and had been the industry hit, the analysts felt that, it is Charan’s market range. But none of his further films like Rachcha, Nayak could make out such huge amount and thus proved that, the real Magadheera is Rajamouli. If at all, Prabhas movie under UV creations, can show any impact Baahubali witnessed, then Baahubali can be termed as Prabhas’s achievement and thus decide his position among the star heroes. Until then Mahesh and Pawan, would continue to juggle in the positions. By Phani Ch

David Warner, a mature leader now! May 31, 2016 12:24

After the recent Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore match, David Warner shared his experiences about the match and several other earlier personal experiences. “For me, when I spoke to the bowlers, I told them to keep backing themselves. We always knew that if we get a wicket or two, it was going to be harder for the next person to come in and play the shots. So for us, it was about staying composed and having belief,” Warner said after the match.Warne led SRH to their maiden IPL title, joining fellow Australians Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist as the only non-Indian captains to lead their side. Along with his tremendous batting skills which brought 848 runs in 17 outings, even his leadership skills deserves a sure mention.SRH head coach Tom Moody said after the match, “I've enjoyed working with Dav because the most important thing that I draw from him is that he has a relentless passion to win. He's a born winner and that rubs off on others. He has got an incredible work ethic, incredible discipline, and all those things are so important from a leadership point of view. And, that has rubbed off on the group.”Warner had to deal with a variety of players at his disposal like the young Indians, highly successful international Indians along with 2 World T20 skippers, Eoin Morgan and Kane Williamson.“The knowledge that you get around this game is always going to be valuable, whether or not you use that, and how you use that," Warner said about taking in as many inputs as possible as a captain. "It was about getting all the information from these guys, and using it to the best of my abilities."Warner believes in making the squad have the absolute freedom and yet being fully responsible for what they do. “For me, it's about players being accountable for themselves from the word go. And, that's what we did as a team. We backed each other's skills, and we had belief. And that's why I am sitting next to the trophy,” Warner said, having a glance at the IPL trophy sitting next to him.By Phani Ch
