GVL Narasimha Rao about Vizag seat Allocation March 25, 2024 19:47

GVL Narasimha Rao about Vizag seat Allocation:- The Vizag parliamentary constituency in Andhra Pradesh has gained significant attention due to the YSR Congress government's plan to establish Vizag as the executive capital of the state. With the upcoming general election, the electoral dynamics in Vizag have become a topic of interest. The competition for the alliance's candidate from Vizag between BJP's GVL Narasimha Rao and TDP's GITAM Bharath was intense. Ultimately, Bharath secured the Vizag MP ticket, which was expected given his strong position within the party. TDP has officially declared Bharath as their candidate for the Vizag MP seat. Following the announcement, GVL Narasimha Rao expressed his disappointment in a video, highlighting his efforts towards development and philanthropy in Vizag over the past three years. He mentioned his supporters' disappointment and hinted at discussing future plans with them. While emphasizing the importance of upholding the BJP's presence in Vizag, GVL did not explicitly endorse or support Bharath, the alliance candidate. #జీవీఎల్4వైజాగ్... ఒక నిబద్ధత#GVL4Vizag... is a Commitment#Visakhaptnam #Vizag @BJP4Andhra pic.twitter.com/GNusImDrfa — జీవీఎల్ నరసింహరావు (మోడీ గారి కుటుంబం) (@GVLNRAO) March 25, 2024 Political observers have noted that alliances rely on mutual support for their chosen candidates, regardless of personal ambitions. GVL's focus on promoting his own accomplishments and the BJP's interests in Vizag, without acknowledging or backing the alliance candidate, Bharath, has raised concerns about the unity and effectiveness of the alliance's objectives. It remains to be seen how this situation will impact the electoral dynamics in Vizag leading up to the elections.

Harish Rao demands Rs.25,000 compensation per acre for Farmers March 25, 2024 17:32

Harish Rao demands Rs.25,000 compensation per acre for Farmers:- In the span of 100 days under the Congress rule, 180 farmers tragically took their own lives, according to T Harish Rao, a former Minister. In light of this devastating reality, Rao is calling on the Congress government to provide compensation of Rs.25,000 per acre to the affected farmers. Since the Congress came into power, farmers have been grappling with issues related to power and water supply. In addition to this, there have been numerous instances of transformers malfunctioning and motors exploding. Despite this dire situation, the Congress Ministers have failed to offer any consolation or support to the grieving families, as Rao has pointed out. సీఎం, మంత్రులు హైదరాబాద్‌లో రాజకీయాలు మాని వ్యవసాయ క్షేత్రాలకు వచ్చి రైతులకు ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం కల్పించండిముఖ్యమంత్రి మా ఎమ్మెల్యేలను… pic.twitter.com/h5ZZq7g8cr — BRS Party (@BRSparty) March 24, 2024 During his interactions with farmers in the Palakurthy constituency on Sunday, Rao expressed his disappointment with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's priorities. He accused Reddy of being more interested in welcoming new leaders into the Congress than in addressing the needs of the farmers, particularly in terms of providing water. What is truly disheartening is that despite the availability of water from the River Godavari, the Congress government has neglected the farming community by not supplying them with this crucial resource. As a consequence, almost 20 lakh acres of agricultural land have dried up, and the unseasonal rains have further damaged countless crops, Rao revealed. Rao has been highly critical of the Congress party, especially in regards to their failure to fulfill the promises they made to the farmers. Prior to the Assembly elections, the Congress had made grand assurances to the farming community. However, it is evident that these promises were merely empty words, as the farmers continue to suffer without the support and resources they were guaranteed.

Raghurama Krishna Raju blames YS Jagan for denial of Ticket March 25, 2024 16:03

Raghurama Krishna Raju blames YS Jagan for denial of Ticket:- Raghurama Krishna Raju, the current MP of Narasapuram, has accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of influencing the BJP's decision to not give him a ticket for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Raju expressed his disappointment after the BJP released its list of candidates for Andhra Pradesh. Despite being elected from Narsapuram in 2019 as a member of the YSRCP, Raju later became a rebel within the party due to his disagreements with the YSRCP and CM Jagan. He had hoped that either the TDP or BJP would field him from Narasapuram for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, but both parties overlooked him. The TDP assigned the Narasapuram constituency to the BJP as part of their seat sharing agreement. As a result, Srinivasa Varma has been chosen as the BJP candidate for Narasapuram. Feeling shocked and betrayed by the denial of a ticket, Raju held a press conference on Sunday night and accused Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of plotting to kill him a long time ago. He recalled being subjected to severe beatings by state police officers. Refusing to grant a ticket to RRR will not only have an impact on the likelihood of winning in Narasapuram, but it will also lead to funding issues in three seats within the Lok Sabha segment. Nimmala Ramanaidu in Palakollu, Bommidi Nayakar in Narasapuram, and Bolisetti Srinu in Tadepalligudem are strong contenders in their respective constituencies, but lack financial resources. They are relying on RRR for funding. All three seats are highly favorable for the alliance to win. Now, the responsibility lies with Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan to provide them with financial assistance, otherwise these guaranteed seats will be lost. Narasapuram should have been an easy win for the BJP with Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, but the new candidate Bhupathiraju Srinivas Varma is relatively unknown and may face difficulties. నాకు ఎంపీ సీటు దక్కకుండా @ysjagan చేసిన కుట్రలపై... pic.twitter.com/kBwcXkywdb — K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju (@RaghuRaju_MP) March 24, 2024

BRS picks up T Padma Rao Goud for Secunderabad:- On Saturday, the BRS announced that T Padma Rao Goud, their MLA from Secunderabad, will be their candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao, who has been with the party since its beginning, described Padma Rao as a dedicated and experienced leader. After consulting with senior party members and MLAs, the decision to select Padma Rao as the candidate was made. It is worth noting that Chandrashekar Rao emphasized Padma Rao's loyalty to the party, especially since Padma Rao will be competing against Danam Nagender, who won the last Assembly elections from Khairtabad on a BRS ticket but recently switched to the Congress party. The BRS has accused Nagender of betraying the party and has also requested his disqualification as an MLA for changing party affiliations. Secunderabad is gearing up for an interesting battle in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The Bharatiya Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) has nominated G Kishan Reddy, who is currently serving as the constituency's MP, Union Minister, and state party president. Delhi Court extends the ED Custody of Kavitha March 23, 2024 19:01

Delhi Court extends the ED Custody of Kavitha:- In connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy case, a Delhi court has extended the custody of K Kavitha, a legislator from the Bharat Rashtriya Samithi (BRS), until March 26. During the court proceedings, Kavitha was granted permission to meet her two sons and other family members in the courtroom. Expressing her views to the media after leaving the courtroom, Kavitha stated that it is inappropriate to make numerous political arrests during the elections and called for the Election Commission of India (ECI) to intervene and protect democracy in the country. Kavitha was brought to the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi on Saturday to appear before the Special Judge. It is worth noting that her custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) will end today (March 23). The ED, in its request for a further five-day remand of Kavitha, informed the Court that searches are currently being conducted at her nephew Mekha Saran's residence. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court of India declined to grant bail to Kavitha on Friday (March 22). The bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna, MM Sundresh, and Bela M Trivedi directed Kavitha to approach the trial court, as this is the usual protocol followed by the Supreme Court. Sibal mentioned that individuals are being detained based on the testimony of a witness. In response, the Supreme Court Bench stated that it is not currently examining the merits of the case. Kavitha, who is a member of the Telangana Legislative Council and the daughter of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, filed a petition with the Supreme Court to challenge her arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in relation to the Delhi excise policy case. Kavitha was arrested on March 15 and was held in the custody of the ED until March 23 after a search operation was conducted at her residence. The ED alleges that Kavitha, along with other individuals, conspired with high-ranking members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, who were recently arrested, to obtain advantages in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi Excise policy. According to ED officials, Kavitha was involved in providing ₹100 crore to AAP leaders in exchange for these advantages. To date, a total of 16 individuals, including Kejriwal, Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Vijay Nair from AAP, have been arrested in connection with this case. (Video Source: NTV Telugu)

ED raids on the relatives premises of Kavitha:- ED officials carried out searches at the homes of close relatives of K Kavitha, a leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), as part of an investigation into a money laundering case related to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam. The searches began early in the morning at an apartment building in Madhapur, where one of Kavitha's relatives resides. It is believed that the information provided by Kavitha during her questioning in the custody of the ED led to these searches. The central agency is now examining the potential involvement of these close relatives in the case. Additionally, the ED had previously interrogated two personal assistants of the BRS leader and confiscated their mobile phones, suspecting their involvement in erasing data from the devices. Kavitha, who is the daughter of BRS President and former Telangana Chief Minister KC Rao, was arrested by the ED in Hyderabad on March 15. She was then transported to Delhi and placed under the custody of the ED. Her custody is set to end on Saturday (March 23), and she will be presented before a trial court later in the day. They instructed her to file a petition with the trial court regarding the matter. The ED has accused Kavitha of being involved in the 'South Group', which is said to have illicitly given Rs. 100 crore in kickbacks to AAP leaders.
