SpiceJet pilots moving out

Concerned about future that it would meet the fate of Kingfisher Airlines, SpiceJet Airlines pilots are looking for a job and approaching other airlines to get a job in the same industry. After fifth consecutive fall of the sessions, fund drought and large-scale flight cancellations, SpiceJet future fell in dilemma and the Civil Aviation ministry is also worried about it. On Sunday, it was reported that around 50 pilots have resigned to their posts.

DGCA has asked SpiceJet to clear the due salaries of employees by December 15th and all eyes are the high level committee meeting. Shares of SpiceJet are in lifetime low and on Monday the shares fell by nearly 13 percent while Airport Authority of India has put it in cash and carry payment mode.

SpiceJet reported net losses for the July-September period at Rs 310 crore which is down from Rs 559 crore net loss during the corresponding period last year.
