Rupee falls 21 paise against USD

Early in the morning trade, the rupee value depreciated against the dollar by losing 21 paise and bringing down the final figure to Rs 54.35. Interbank Foreign Exchange has also measured the American currency growing stronger over the Euro in other nations.

With the demand for dollar increasing among the traders, the value of rupee had succumbed to the pressure. Though there were more factors that facilitated the fall of Rupee a stronger domestic market that opened high today has put a check to the fall to lower figures.

Yesterday Rupee closed at Rs 54.14 after Monday trade. The BSE Benchmark, Sensex rose by 40.43 points, which amounts to 0.211% growth to end at 19,210.26 in early trade on Tuesday.
