Neck Massage Leaves Delhi Man Paralysed:- It is quite common in India, many of us continue with a head massage after having a hair cut. It often ends in a neck crack if the barber doesn’t handle you smoothly. When a neck is turned sharply from left to right and from right to left, neck crack generally happens. Like this Ajay Kumar, a 54-year old came to a saloon in New Delhi for hair cut and head massage. After he completed his hair cut, he was relaxing with a head massage like it happens every month.

Once the massage completed, Ajay Kumar returned home and he turned extremely breathless. The neck crack damaged phrenic nerves which usually control the diaphram which helps humans to breath. He has been rushed to ICU after which he has been kept on ventilation. Dr Anand Jaiswal, director of respiratory and sleep medicine at Medanta - The Medicity confirmed this. He said that Ajay Kumar's diaphragm has been paralysed and he may be on ventilator support for the rest of his life as the never rarely regenerates. He even said that there is no other treatment for diaphragm.

The doctors are now warning people to be cautious during head massagers which is leading to breathlessness and then leads to the failure in lungs and heart. Ajay Kumar’s incident is an example.
