Kid turns to vendor for disabled brother

What does a five year old girl generally know. Eating chocolates, making noise and all such things. But what is your feeling when you come across a child who loves her disabled brother to that extent that she is even ready to sell lemonades in the streets ?

A five-year old girl of Toronto, named Na’ama Uzan has expressed her love for her disabled brother in a heart melting way.

Nadav, the girl's brother was affected with Angelman Syndrome, a neuro developmental disorder when he was just two years old. This kind of disability is generally observed in one in every 15000 child births.

The girl who was deeply hurt seeing his brother suffering from this disorder set up a lemonade stall to raise money for the foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics.

All these started an year ago. Na’ama was and is hugely applauded by the neighbors and the near by community. The girl's father said "It's quite amazing. Even at their young ages, they realise that they can do something to help [him]. It's quite incredible how they've all really stepped up." So far Na'ama has raised an incredible $25,000 from the aforesaid stalls.

Na’ama’s efforts even caught the attention of media. A couple whose son was recently affected with    Angelman Syndrome saw the effort of this girl and inspired them to raise $22,000 as a donation. The man among the couple spoke out in CTV Toronto “The technology and therapies will be there to help these individuals and the only way that hope is going to be fulfilled is through the efforts of people like Na'ama and her family who inspire others to give.”

Clubbing the couple's donation with the actual fund raised by the girl personally, it amounted to  $47,000, where now the amount is being used  to set up a research grant in Na'ama's name.

Having a good wish in mind and doing proper efforts for it, can always lead to a good result. Yet again the proof is here
