In a shocking incident, an woman found that her new two weeks old baby was born without eyes. The woman from Arizona state in US is identified as Kelly Lopez gave birth to a boy three months ago. She initially thought the baby's face was swollen as his eyes were always shut the flesh of the cheeks. After noticing that the infant had no eyes, an MRI test was conducted and this confirmed that the baby was born without eyes.
Even the doctors were quite surprised by this, however said the child still had his optical nerve and he can undergo a transplant surgery. “I think we were just in shock. Obviously very upsetting. "I do hope that one day they'll be able to either grow an eye or transplant an eye,” said Kelly Lopez.
