Former New Zealand cricketer Shane Bond has been appointed as the Mumbai Indian's bowling coach and will lead the team in the 2015 edition of the Indian Premier League.  Shane Bond is the four major coach for the Mumbai Indians team which already has South Africa’s Jonty Roads, Robin Singh and very recently, Ricky Ponting has been named as head coach.

Shane is currently guiding New Zealand cricket team but his contract will end after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and he is against an extension. He will right away join the Mumbai Indians Team as the IPL 2015 is scheduled from April 8th. The 39 year old Blackcaps cricketer played for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2010 edition of IPL.
