Sanjay Dutt granted 2 weeks leave

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been granted 14 days leave from Yerwada jail. The actor who s convicted in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, applied for a two weeks leave before the deputy inspector general of police (prisons). About an year ago, Sanjay Dutt has applied for a leave and is eligible for the same this year too.

After due recommendations, the officials have sanctioned leave to Sanjay Dutt. He will be released from the jail after completing the formalities and this might happen by today night.  In 2013, Sanjay Dutt was granted four weeks furlough and then a 30 day parole by the Maharashtra government. This decision was widely criticised. This current furlough can also be extended by two more weeks added an official.
