Actress Kushboo who quit DMK party in June, this year, will join Congress party said highly reliable sources. The 44 year old actress turned politician joined DMK in 2010 after she won the legal battle over her controversial remarks on pre-marital . Over 22 case were dropped on Kushboo and so she extended her support to then ruling party DMK.
Post 2011 elections, things have changed drastically and in the very recent Lok Sabha elections, DMK has won only two seats while Congress did not manage even single seat. Kushboo's entry into Congress arrived at a time when GK Vasan has left the party and floated a new one.
