Reinstate me as BCCI Chief

ICC Chairman N. Srinivasan has asked the Supreme Court to reinstate him the president of Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI]. Srinivasan filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court and stated that the Mudgal committee has cleared him for fixing and betting charges, so I request you to resume my duties as the BCCI chief.

Srinivasan had stepped down as the BCCI chief in June this year following the IPL spot fixing allegations against his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan. The Mudgal Committee, which had submitted its report on November 17 had said that Srinivasan, along with four other BCCI officials, was aware of the violation of the Players Code of Conduct by the player, but no action was taken by any of them. However, the concerned player was not named in the report.
