Former Delhi chief minister and former Kerala Governor Sheila Diskhit was slapped with Rupees 3 lakh fine for not appearing before the court in connection with a defamation case filed against BJP leader Vijendra Gupta.

The Congress leader filed defamation suit on BJP leader for using uncivilised language on her in MCD elections which were held two years back. Earlier the court fined Sheila with Rs 5,000 for her absence and again the same scene repeated. The court ordered Sheila to appear before it in its next hearing on December 20th.

Looks like the troubles have started for Sheila and more to come as she has been accused in the Common Wealth Games 2010 scam.
