Telangana Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy has said that the Union government has taken back of granting special powers to joint Governor of AP and T states. Home Minister has met Telangana Police Association members yesterday and has reportedly said to them that the central government has taken back the thought of granting special powers to joint Governor and the state government has information regarding this.

The T-police have submitted a memo to Home minister, requesting him to solve the problems in the police department. Naini has showered new schemes for the police like a weekly off, homes to employees, medical assurance etc.
