Two more bodies were recovered on Sunday from Beas river out of the 24 missing engineering students in the Himachal tragedy on June 8. With this, total of 23 bodies have been retrieved so far and the search operations for one more body is still going on. The bodies recovered were identified as Dasari Srinidhi and Kasarla Reddy.
The bodies were sent to autospy and parents of students were informed. A student named, Kalluri Sree Harsha, is still missing. While high-tech marine devices SONAR, LIDAR, unmanned aerial vehicles were deployed for the search. This is longest search operations ever done.
