Yediyurappa Takes Oath as Chief Minister of Karnataka:- Karnataka BJP Chief B S Yediyurappa took oath as the new Chief Minister of Karnataka last evening at 6 PM. This is the fourth time B S Yediyurappa is taking oath as the Chief Minister of the state. After the Congress and JDS alliance tumbled down, BJP has been asked to form the government. B S Yediyurappa took oath in the presence of Governor Vajubhai Vala on Friday. Before this, Yediyurappa visited Kadu Malleshwara Temple in the city and he addressed the party workers. Yediyurappa last held Chief Minister's chair in May 2018 for just three days.

With the disqualification of three rebel MLAs, the Assembly strength came down to 222. Speaker Ramesh Kumar is expected to take a call on the 14 rebel MLAs of Congress and JDS alliance. Yediyurappa's government will take the trust vote on July 29th in the Assembly. BJP has a strength of 105 and they need to cross the halfway mark which is 112. After taking the oath, Yediyurappa announced two additional installments of Rs 2000 for PM Kisan scheme Rs 100 crore loan waiver for weavers. Yediyurappa said that he is not interested in political revenge and he is here to serve the people.
