Chandrayaan 2 All Set For Launch:- After a small technical glitz knocked the country's second moon mission Chandrayaan 2, it is now all set for launch today from Sriharikota. Chandrayaan 2 has a powerful rocket GSLV-MkO111-M1 on board and Rs 978 crores is the estimated budget spent on the prestigious mission. Chandrayaan 2 is rescheduled to take off at 2.43 PM today at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists decided to hold the mission exactly 56 minutes before the countdown a week ago.

Chandrayaan 2 comes 11 years after Chandrayaan 1, India's first lunar mission. The whole world is looking for the launch of Chandrayaan 2. ISRO chairman K Sivan confirmed that all the glitches are now rectified and wished a smooth launch. He even said that the rehearsals have been successfully completed. India will be the fourth country in the world to send a lunar surface to the moon after Russia, USA and China. Chandrayaan 2 is targeted to reach close to the South Pole of the moon.
