Two Dead After Heavy Rains Lashed Hyderabad:- High-intensity winds along with thunderstorm and heavy drizzle in Hyderabad claimed two lives in Hyderabad. The historic Moula Ali Kaman top was badly damaged due to rain. A student was electrocuted in SR Nagar after his umbrella touched an electric pole. The student named K Shivaji died on spot. 55-year-old Shikha Chandraiah died after a tree fell on him in Mallapur, Yadadri mandal. He was climbing the tree when the winds are on and the tree fell on him. He passed away on spot.

Heavy rains lashed out the state and agriculture fields suffered huge damage. Hyderabad remained cloudy for the most of the day and temperatures dropped by evening. Hyderabad witnessed trees uprooted after heavy winds and there was a huge traffic jam in the city across the major areas due to the heavy downpour. Thunderstorms and hailstorms were reported in Medchal, Kapra, Vayupuri and other regions of the state. The GHMC disaster management team came into action to remove the stagnated water.
