Sri Lanka Attacks: Death Toll Reaches 290:- The whole world has been left in deep shock with the series of bomb attacks in island country Sri Lanka. On the day of Easter, nine serial bomb blasts took place yesterday which killed hundreds. Three churches along with a bunch of star hotels have been targeted. Soon, the whole nation was under high alert and the country imposed curfew all over. The internet services have been suspended in the country. It has been one day after the incident and the death toll reached 290 now.

Hundreds are admitted to hospital and several people are battling for life. This is known to be the deadliest attack that ever happened in the history of Sri Lanka till date. Several foreign tourists have been killed in the blasts and five Indians were among them. Regina, KG Hanumantharayappa and M Rangappa, from Karnataka, Lakshmi, Narayan Chandrashekhar and Ramesh were confirmed as dead by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

As per the update, 24 people were arrested in connection with these blasts and the investigation is happening on a fast pace. The Sri Lankan Government is yet to officially confirm who is behind this deadly attack. The death toll in this attack may even rise further.
