Manohar Parrikar Passes Away:- Senior politician, ex-Defence Minister and four-time Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar passed away in his Goan residence last evening. The 63-year-old politician has been battling for life and he is suffering from pancreatic cancer from the past one year. He was flown to the United States last year for treatment and his health condition fluctuated several times this year. His health turned worse from Saturday and Manohar Parrikar was kept on life support. He breathed his last at 6.40 PM last evening.

The whole country mourned his demise and condolences messages reached his family. His last rites will take place today and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh will attend his last rites. He was called as one of the most efficient BJP leaders and was quick to make decisions. While working as the Union Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar was asked to take charge as Goa Chief Minister and the finest troubleshooter handled it in style. Rest in Peace Manohar Parrikar.
