APTA First Medical Camp For 2019:- American Progressive Telugu Association (APTA) is a non-profit organization devoted to the awareness and promotion of Telugu heritage and formed in 2008 with the sole purpose of bringing together our Telugu community. APTA turned out to be a helping hand for several students who are in search for financial aid. Started with a single digit number, APTA now has 10,000 members. On behalf of Srikanth Katragadda and in the remembrance of his grand father Kaza Sambasiva Rao and his charitable trust, APTA arranged a free mega medical camp in Kunchanapalli, Tadepalli mandal in Andhra Pradesh. Almost 1000 people attended the free eye camp and got their eyes tested.
Ex-minister Sanakkayala Aruna, P Madhu (CPI State Leader) and Additional DGP PV Sunil attended and inaugurated the medical camp. All the charity activities of APTA from the past one decade along with Megastar Chiranjeevi's message about APTA have been presented for the viewers on LED screens. APTA thanked main sponsorer Srikanth Katragadda along with the doctors and the local volunteers in making it success. After the medical check, the doctors offered free medicines for all the patients. APTA leadership has been personally thanked for organizing such a huge mega medical camp.
