Cyclone Phethai Makes A Landfall:- Andhra Pradesh Government has been alerted ahead of the disastrous cyclone Phethai landfall. It crossed the coast this afternoon in Katrenikonda near Kakinada. The weather bulletin has been issued this afternoon after the landfall of cyclone Phethai. Over 350 villages of Andhra Pradesh have been kept alerted and the government took all the measures. AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu will make his visit to the affected regions soon.

Over 50 trains have been cancelled in the state because of the cyclone. Ministers Narayana and Kaluva Srinivasulu have been asked to take care of the relief operations in East Godavari district. Ministers Farooq and Amarnath Reddy will take care of Vizag. 20,000 people are provided shelter in 400 camps arranged in Kakinada. All the fishermen have been asked to stay away from the sea. As per the official information, the cyclone hit the coast at 12.17 PM today and no human loss has been registered.
