Telangana Polls: TDP and Congress Alliance in Troubles: Telangana is heading for polls on December 7th and the results of the Assembly polls will be out on December 11th. TDP and Congress joined hands for Mahakutami along with TJS and CPI. Telangana Congress Election Coordination Committee met recently to discuss about the number of seats to be divided among them. With TRS ahead and announcing all the candidates, Mahakutami is yet to make an announcement about the seats and the candidates. Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) is demanding 20 seats and CPI 8 seats.

TDP too is demanding over 25 seats and they have most of them in and around Hyderabad. This did not go well with Congress as they are keen on contesting in 100 seats in Telangana. There seems to be a huge trouble in adjusting the seats despite of several sets of discussions. A close source revealed that is quite difficult to convince all the parties of the alliance as everyone is expecting more number of seats. Congress leaders are strict on their stand of contesting in 100 seats.
