Vijayashanti Turns Star Campaigner Of Congress:- Veteran actress and politician Vijayashanti has been away from politics after she has been defeated in the elections in 2014. There have been talks that she is keen on making her comeback with Telangana elections heading soon. Vijayashanti recently met Rahul Gandhi and revealed about her plans after which she has been promised a prominent place in the state politics. The party recently announced various committees and Vijayashanti has been assigned the role of a star campaigner.

Vijayashanti is the adviser of the election campaign committee and she will lead the election campaigns and promotions in Telangana. Vijayashanti who is known as a fire brand can make magic with her words and take on TRS which is the major opponent for Congress in the state. However it is still unclear if Vijayashanti will contest in the next elections or will restrict herself as a star campaigner in Telangana. Revanth Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar have been appointed as the working Presidents of Telangana Congress.
