Hyderabad Twin Blasts Case: Both Convicted To Be Hanged:- The second additional metropolitan sessions court announced that Aneeq Shafique Sayeed and Md Akbar have been convicted in the Hyderabad twin blasts case that took place in 2007. The final judgement regarding the sentence has been postponed for today. The special court today addressed life sentence for Aneeq Shafique Sayeed and Md Akbar in the case. Another accused Tariq Anjum has been announced convicted today by the NIA Court and he has been awarded life sentence for offering shelter for the convicted.

Farooq Sharfuddin Tarkash and Mohammad Sadiq Israr Shaik have been announced acquitted by the court last week. Aneeq Shafique Sayeed from Pune owns a computer centre and Md Akbar Ismail Chowdhari owns a mobile repair centre in Pune. Aneeq planted a bomb at Lumbini Park and Akbar planted a bomb in Dilshuknagar for which they are convicted. Riyaz Bhatkal, Iqbal, Amir Reza Khan who are related to this case have been absconding. The twin blasts took place on August 25th 2007 near Gokul Chat and Lumbini Park which left 44 killed and 68 injured.
