Kathi Mahesh Arrested:- Critic and controversial analyst Kathi Mahesh has been arrested last night by Banjara Hills police from his residence for making abusive comments on Hindu Gods in television debate. Kathi Mahesh has been sent to remand after several cases have been registered. Kathi Mahesh called Lord Rama an idiot and Ramayana fictional. He even said that Sita should have stayed with Ravana instead of Rama and she would have got justice through Ravana.
His statements created a stir and several unions filed cases for his controversial and unusual comments. Bajarangadal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bhagyanagar Brahmin youth, Hindu Sangathan, Hindu Janashakthi, Hindu Vahini and several others filed cases against Kathi Mahesh. He revealed that people misunderstood his comments and he is not here to abuse any God. He has been sent to judicial remand.
