Gauri Lankesh Murder: SIT In Bother:- Veteran journalist Gauri Lankesh's murder created ripples across the country and almost after a year, Special Investigation Team (SIT) is all set to crack the case. Parashuram Waghmare was the man who committed the crime and he admitted of killing Gauri. However, Parashuram Waghmare refused to confess the crime before the magistrate. The first one to be arrested in the case KT Naveen Kumaar agreed to undergo a narco-analysis test to claim his innocence.

SIT took only Waghmare out of Parappana Agrahara Prison - the other five accused in custody were produced through video conferencing. The court remanded him in judicial custody till July 11th. SIT will now face challenges in this case and they will have to trace the murder weapon at the earliest. The fire arm turned out quite crucial in the case and SIT is in plans to trace out the weapon to make things easier. SIT has arrested Amol Kale from Pune, Amit Degwekar from Goa, Suchit Kumar alias Praveen from Shivamogga and Manohar Edave from Vijayapura in the case.
