17 Killed After A Bus Hits Divider And Overturns In UP:- Almost 17 people have been killed after a private bus hits a divider and overturned in Uttar Pradesh. Over 20 have been injured and the incident took place in Manipuri, Uttar Pradesh today morning. The bus had almost 70 people on board and it was on its way from Jaipur to Farrukhabad. The incident took place near Tirathpur village at 5.30 AM informed Om Prakash Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police.
Rescue operations are on and locals helped the victims to be taken to the nearby hospital. The bus driver lost his left leg and is admitted in Saifai. The bus mostly carried labourers who work in brick kilns and were returning to their native villages. Sources informed that several people were sleeping on the roof of the bus. Over speeding is the reason informed initial investigation. The bus overturned after hitting the divider and the efforts are on to identify the victims.
