Cash Crunch In Telangana Post Offices: EGS Workers Hit:- There has been a severe cash crunch across the post offices in Telangana which made the lives of the daily wage earners miserable. All these workers have been under MGNREGS scheme. Around 19 lakh MGNREGS job card holders haven't received their wages from the past four months and is due to the non-availability of cash in the post offices. Panchayat Raj deputy commissioner B Saidulu informed this to Telangana Today.

Over 19 lakh job holders from various Telangana villages opened accounts in post offices to receive their wages. Reserve Bank of India hasn't released funds to the post offices and the daily wage earners are yet to receive their salaries. However EGS job holders have been receiving their funds as they have accounts in various banks. RBI is expected to release the funds in the coming days and MGNREGS workers are eagerly waiting for their dues.
